Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will give prizes to those stars who have shown the best work in various fields of the film. The prize will be given at the Junkyard at Bangabandhu International Conference Center in Dhaka on July 24th. Additional Secretary of the Ministry Manjurur Rahman told reporters on Monday afternoon.
The names of the people who received the award for 'National Film Award 2015' have already been announced. Although the notification was issued in May, the rest were the formalities of the award.
Film industry and crafts are being given 'National Film Award 2015' in 25 categories in recognition of the glorious and extraordinary contribution of Bangladeshi film industry.Actor Shabana and singer Ferdousi Rahman are being jointly honored with lifetime achievement in this year's National Film Awards. Shakib Khan (more loving you) and Mahfuz Ahmed (Zero Degree) have jointly won the Best Hero Award. Jaya Ahsan has been selected as the best actress for 'Zero Degree'. Now, 'Bazjan Bioscope', directed by Riazul Rizu, has got the highest award including best film.
