Hajj flights will start this year from July 24. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the Haj Camp on 22 July.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon said this in a press briefing at the Secretariat on Tuesday.
In the press briefing, the first flight will leave 419 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia.
Rashid Khan Menon said that this time the Hajj flight will be operated directly from Medina.
According to the press briefing, this year 1 lakh 27 thousand 198 will go to Hajj. Hajj flight will end on 26th August
Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister said, action will be taken against the ticket syndicate cycle with appropriate evidence.
The minister said necessary instructions have been given to Biman Biman Airlines and Saudi Arabian Airlines for proper operation of Hajj activities.
