Detectives (DB) police have detained 10 people for rape after abduction of a 10th grade student in Jessore.
They were arrested from different places of the district on Thursday. Police also rescued the rape student from the city's RS residential hotel while unconscious. In this incident, a case was filed with the Kotwali Police Station with the complainant of the schoolgirl.
The 10th grade student studied at the Khairtala Secondary School in the city. Six years ago, after the death of his father, he studied at the city's Old Kasba Ghoshapara from the many quarters.
Kotwali Police Station Officer-in-Charge Imaul Haque told the press briefing at Jessore District Detective Police (DB) office yesterday that on April 24 afternoon, a 10th class student came to Paurapark area to learn computer. At that time ten people, including friend Munna, kidnapped him in front of the municipal park. They used to rape the girl by stuck in the number 511 of the city's RS residential hotel. After receiving information, DB police rescued the student from the spot and detained two people from the hotel. Later, more than eight people were arrested for suspected involvement in the incident in various locations.
The detainees are Taizel Islam, Munna Hossain, Ashikur Rahman Sagar, Md. Shahriar Hasnat, Rashedul Islam heart, Fariduzzaman, Sajib Raihan, Ibrahim, Sardar, Ahmed Ali. Schoolgirl was taken to the General Hospital for medical examination. In the incident, Jessore filed a case with the Kotwali Police Station.
